Head of Business Development (Synfindo, Innovation Platform) 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Establish new client relationships and leverage existing relationships to sell Synfindo’s full suite of product offerings across target markets 

  • Own the full sales cycle from designing and executing GTM strategy, driving sales, and overseeing post-sales account management and support

  • Hire, build, train and manage a sales team across markets to achieve sales KPIs

  • Develop sales strategy, define funnel and maximize sales productivity

  • Identify, negotiate, onboard and manage channel partners for selling Synfindo’s complete suite of solutions across target markets

  • Identify, negotiate, onboard and manage strategic partners which can drive awareness and sales of Syfindo’s suite of products

  • Work closely with Marketing to design and deliver campaigns leading to better customer engagement and sales outcomes

  • Be a thought-leader and represent Synfindo at key regional industry event and conferences 


Wider team collaboration:

  • Undertake regular sales KPI reporting including pipeline, sales funnel updates and provide sales forecasts to internal stakeholders

  • Provide market (client and competitor) insights to Product and other internal stakeholders to and help business strategy and product developments

  • Assess customer pain points from speaking with business partners, analyzing market trends and client feedback to help product development roadmap and enhancements

  • Work closely with legal to ensure we remain compliant on relevant business and regulatory aspects.


You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of business development / sales / key account management experience within the financial services industry

  • Proven track record of selling technology products and services to financial services players across ASEAN, India and / or the Middle East

  • Successfully sold and managed lead large technology products and solutions deals to enterprise customers at enterprise levels starting with strategic planning, focus and drive

  • An established client-base and are well regarded across financial services clients across ASEAN, India, Middle East and other emerging markets

  • Ability to establish new client relations and nurture them across various sectors such as commercial / private sectors, public e.g. government / regulators and industry associations and  / fintechs

  • Comfortable working as a strategic partner to your customers – can build and maintain relationships, engage clients and/or channel partners to drive sales 

  • Hired, grown and led sales, channel partner networks and customer success teams from scratch, with the ability to coach and across levels
